while what I've seen of the 97 anime is good, the art style just doesn't fit berserk, but I can respect it for being a more faithful adaptation. I love the Golden Age movie trilogy but there are a few key subplots that they cut out , that I personally think were essential character development moments. Example , there’s a tiny scene with Zodd and a sword the 2nd movie cut out that to me , is essential for understanding his character.
