They really are a nightmare and I'd highly recommend people find a good pink line test like a FRER or boots early test instead.

Not the most helpful to say now but I do think the only tests worth buying are the First Response Early Response (FRER) tests - pink dye much less likely to give a false reading and they’re the most sensitive, I’d get some of those.
